Any victories won by the LGBTQIA+ community have happened because of decades, even centuries of work. Undoing prejudice and discrimination is no small task, but it's necessary to ensure a vibrant future for the 9 million Americans who identify as LGBTQIA+, and millions more around the globe.

This October, Giddy honors the legacy of brave individuals who suffered and triumphed in the fight to achieve fundamental rights. While the community's progress has not been linear, we hope that by learning from our past, we can continue to move forward.
